Corinne welcomes you to the small town of Vouvray, in the heart of the Loire valley, where her typical touraine-style house is located.
A nice and quiet place to stay and visit the city of Tours, the Touraine vineyards and the Loire valley's chateaux.

La Closeraie is a charming guesthouse, in a traditional touraine style (14th century, against the cliff, with rooms in a dwell cave and patios), located in the heart of Vouvray, small town famous for its sparkling wine. The house was completely restored by her owner in 2002.

La Closeraie offers a quiet living room around the fireplace to rest after your arrival, and a lovely living room in the dwell cave, decorated with moroccan- and touraine-style elements.
When the weather is good, the internal yard can be used for the breakfast or just to benefit from the sun... below the Virginia creeper.

Each room has a self-contained bathroom with washbasin, toilet and bath or shower.
Your host will also put at your disposal towels, sheets and toiletries if needed. .
The bedrooms are equiped with a double bed and can be transformed into 2 or 3 single beds according to your needs.

La closeraie is located in the heart of the castle trail : 10 kms to the Amboise castle and to the "Clos Luce" (last residence of Leonardo da Vinci) for example.
You will also have the possibility to discover nearby the castles of Chenonceau, Chambord, Cheverny, Blois, and the gardens of Chaumont and Villandry.

In addition to the visit of its caves and vineyards, you will have the possibility to discover the incomparable taste of the Vouvray sparkling wine during wine-tasting sessions.
You will also be able to visit the other vineyards of Touraine : Bourgueil, Chinon...
The country of Rabelais also offers many gastronomic stops that will alow you to discover the goat's milk cheese, potted meat, chopped pork cooked in fat a,d served cold, and other specialities of the area.
